These policies and regulations are subject to change at any time based on local and national health and safety guidelines issued by CDC, Illinois Department of Public Health, and/or Champaign Urbana Public Health District. Updated September 16, 2021.

In order to maintain the safest space possible for guests, artists and staff, proof of vaccination (with last dose administered at least 14 days prior to date of arrival) will be required for entry to all ticketed performances. Vaccination cards or clear photocopies / phone pictures of your vaccination card will be considered acceptable forms and must match the name on your government-issued photo ID. We will also be accepting a valid proof of vaccination via the University of Illinois’ SHIELD program app as well.

PLEASE NOTE: A current negative COVID test will NOT suffice for entry.

COVID-19 VACCINATION WRISTBAND INFO

PYGMALION will be issuing wristbands which will grant you entry into venues all weekend after you provide your proof of vaccination. You will only be allowed to receive ONE wristband and it must stay on your arm for the duration of PYGMALION or until you have attended your last performance.

  • For each individual ticketed show at Canopy Club, Rose Bowl Tavern outdoor, NOLA’s Rock Bar, and 25 O’Clock Brewing Company, patrons will be asked to showcase proof of vaccination at the door of each of those venues for whichever respective show it may be. You will be granted a wristband which showcases you have proven you are fully vaccinated at the door of said venue, and therefore be granted into other performances if you have tickets for additional shows throughout PYGMALION.
  • You can also visit our WILL CALL Booth, located at Rose Bowl Tavern’s Outdoor area, between the hours of 4 – 11 p.m. on Thursday September 23 through Saturday September 25 to receive a proof of vaccination wristband there which will grant you into shows throughout the weekend. Once you get a wristband you’re good to go and will not be asked to show your proof of vaccination again.
  • Based on current CDC guidelines, all patrons will be required to wear a mask at any indoor event at all times except when actively eating or drinking.
  • For all outdoor ticketed performances, we are strongly encouraging masks at all times when not actively eating or drinking.

We have worked alongside Champaign-Urbana Public Health District to develop these guidelines in order to maintain and execute an event that is as safe as we possibly can produce given the nature of live events right now. All policies are subject to change at any time based on CUPHD and CDC guidelines.

Thank you for your understanding and support while we navigate this difficult time. If you have any questions whatsoever, please email us at info@thepygmalionfestival.com and Seth or Patrick will get back to you ASAP.

VACCINATION POLICY FAQ

What are the acceptable forms of vaccination proof?

You may enter any PYGMALION event if you are fully vaccinated, meaning you have received the 2nd of 2 doses of the Moderna or Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, or 1 dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine more than 14 days prior to an event. We are also accepting any vaccine currently recognized and approved by the CDC or WHO, including international vaccines such as Oxford/AstraZeneca: Vaxzevria, Sinopharm: BBIBP-CorV, and Sinovac: CoronaVac.

Vaccination cards or clear photocopies / phone pictures of your vaccination card will be considered acceptable forms and must match the name on your government-issued photo ID. We will also be accepting a valid proof of vaccination via the University of Illinois’ SHIELD program app, and proof through the Illinois Department of Public Health’s Resident Immunization Portal as well.

Based on current CDC guidelines, all patrons will be required to wear a mask at any indoor event at all times except when actively eating or drinking.

For all outdoor ticketed performances, we are strongly encouraging masks at all times when not actively eating or drinking.

What is your refund policy?

Because this policy is being instituted alongside tickets going on sale for all of our 2021 programming, we will not be providing refunds if you purchase a ticket and realize the policy is in place after the fact and you’re ineligible to attend a show.

Are masks required for fully vaccinated attendees?

Masks are strongly encouraged and may be required on a show to show basis by artist request.

Can I still attend with a negative covid test?

No. Vaccination, with the last dose administered at least 14 days prior to date of arrival, will be required for entry for all guests.

Where can I get the vaccine?

Visit vaccines.gov for additional information on how to obtain your vaccination.

What if I lost my vaccination card?

If you didn’t receive the vaccine card or lost it, your first step is to contact your vaccination provider, such as Walgreens, CVS, or a local government office. If you can’t contact your provider, you can reach out to contact your state health department’s immunization information system. All vaccination providers must report COVID-19 vaccinations to their IIS.

State health departments will either email or mail a copy of your vaccination card, although it may take one to two weeks. Click here to learn more.
