Erin Hoffman is an enthusiastic fictioneeress hailing from the Chicagoland suburbs. Hoffman is an MFA candidate in creative writing at the University of Illinois, where she also leads undergraduate fiction workshops, teaches first-year composition, and serves as the Assistant Director of the Program in Professional Writing. Hoffman’s work—often an unholy cocktail of morbidity, whimsical humor, and psychological candor—has been published in journals such as The OffbeatRed Cedar Review, and plain china. Though passionate about all things writing, Hoffman is also a lapsed violist, avid grocery store shopper, and proud mama of her basset hound puppy, Judy.
