Sweetmelk is dynamically sentimental, bombastic durgey goodness from Champaign Urbana IL. Fronted by powerhouse Kenna Mae, known for their dynamic vocal delivery and raw emotional honesty, is joined by drummer James Mauck and bassist Stephen Emerson. Mauck has a masters in Jazz Percussion, deep interest in improvised music and a long history of melting faces with blast beats in basements. Stephen is a multi instrumentalist with roots in punk, new age, math rock and electronic music. The combination of Stephen’s sweet danceable sparkle, Kenna’s richly dark and desperate sCREAMo vocals, and Mauck’s total percussive destruction results in a sonic sovereignty that’ll leave your beard in a puddle on the floor, your tits up and your balls fully dropped.
